A recent report by the renowned research firm Gallup has revealed the world’s angriest countries, with Türkiye securing the second spot. The 2024 Global Emotions Report, which provides insights into the emotional states of countries, presents eye-opening findings on global sentiments.

Türkiye among World’s angriest countries

According to the Gallup study, which surveyed a total of 100 countries, Türkiye ranked as the second-angriest country globally.

The report is part of Gallup’s annual survey assessing the emotional well-being of nations, analyzing both positive and negative emotions.

Lebanon tops list

The country that emerged as the angriest in the world was Lebanon. While Türkiye secured the second position, Lebanon’s emotional landscape has been marked by intense negativity, placing it at the top of the list.

El Salvador: Happiest nation

In stark contrast, El Salvador was ranked as the world’s happiest and most positive country.

The Latin American nation reported experiencing positive emotions more frequently than any other country, standing out for its widespread sense of optimism.
