Foreigners living in Türkiye often encounter a major hurdle when trying to resolve disputes with local companies: the lack of accessible consumer rights platforms in English.

Now, there’s good news. Türkiye’s leading consumer complaint platform, Sikayetvar, has officially launched its English-language version at sikayetvar.com/en, providing expatriates and international visitors a powerful new tool to defend their consumer rights—completely free.

Sikayetvar becomes a bridge between companies and consumers

Founded in 2001, Sikayetvar has long been Türkiye’s one of the most trusted online platforms for consumer complaints, acting as a public forum where customers can voice their issues across industries like telecommunications, retail, banking, travel, and healthcare.

Importantly, Sikayetvar doesn’t just list complaints; it actively encourages companies to respond and resolve the problems, making it an effective bridge between businesses and consumers.

Recently, Sikayetvar was acquired by Xolvie, an international complaint management system.

Thanks to this new ownership, the platform is now expanding its services to the global community, offering full English-language support to cater specifically to Türkiye’s growing foreign resident and visitor population.

A free and transparent way to protect consumer rights in Türkiye

Accessing the platform is straightforward and remains entirely free. Users are only required to register—either by linking a Gmail or Facebook account or by creating a new login. Once registered, users can submit complaints, track company responses, and publicly rate the outcomes, making the entire process transparent and easy to follow.

In a country where language barriers can make consumer protection feel out of reach, Sikayetvar’s English service is a significant step forward.

Whether it’s a delayed refund, an unfulfilled service, or a faulty product, foreigners now have an effective, no-cost avenue to seek resolutions and hold companies accountable.

For many residents and visitors in Türkiye, this could be the most effective consumer rights tool available today.
