Trump declares ‘energy emergency,’ drops ‘electric vehicle mandate’
President Donald Trump on Monday declared a “national energy emergency” to boost oil and gas drilling in the U.S., the world’s largest producer, and announced plans to eliminate vehicle emissions standards, which he described as an “electric vehicle mandate.”
