OpenAI CEO Altman challenges Musk’s $97B offer with $9B X bid
An investment group led by Elon Musk offered $97.4 billion to acquire the nonprofit that controls AI chatbot ChatGPT’s parent company, OpenAI. However, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman publicly refused the bid, responding sarcastically by offering $9.74 billion for X (formerly Twitter).
