Trump claims to solve North Korea, Iran issues with phone calls

Former U.S. President and 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump claimed he could resolve “most problems” with North Korea and Iran through phone calls and direct negotiations.
Speaking at a Los Angeles press conference, Trump addressed his approach to potential adversaries if re-elected.
He responded to concerns about North Korea’s nuclear capabilities and Iran’s alleged missile supplies to Russia by asserting his ability to solve these issues through direct communication.
“I can make phone calls and solve most of the problems. In fact, I might need to make several calls,” Trump said.
He also reiterated a previous claim from his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, asserting that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told him, “Everyone is afraid of Trump.” Trump added “China is afraid, Russia is afraid, North Korea is afraid.”
