Fenerbahce held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw at home during the third week of the UEFA Europa League.

Christian Eriksen opened the scoring for United in the 15th minute, but Fenerbahce equalized through Youssef En-Nesyri in the 49th minute.

The match took a dramatic turn when Manchester United’s manager, Jose Mourinho, was shown a red card in the 57th minute, leaving his side to finish the game with 10 men.

Standings update

With the draw, Mourinho’s Manchester United increased their points tally to 5, while Erik ten Hag’s team now has 3 points.

Fenerbahce’s next challenge

Fenerbahce will travel to the Netherlands to face AZ Alkmaar in their next UEFA Europa League match, scheduled for Thursday, November 7.
