Türkiye’s Health Minister Kemal Memisoglu announced the country’s commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare support to Syria following a phone conversation with his Syrian counterpart.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the ruling AK Party’s parliamentary group meeting, Memisoglu emphasized Türkiye’s dedication to aiding Syria’s healthcare infrastructure and supporting its recovery process.

Minister Memisoglu described the conversation with his Syrian counterpart as productive and beneficial. He expressed Türkiye’s readiness to offer all necessary assistance to ensure Syrians have access to adequate healthcare services.

“We conveyed our best wishes and reiterated our commitment to supporting Syria in every aspect of healthcare,” Memisoglu said. “They expressed their gratitude and assured us of their efforts to coordinate healthcare services effectively for their citizens.”

Coordination for effective healthcare delivery

During the discussion, both parties emphasized the importance of collaboration to maximize the efficiency of healthcare support.

Memisoglu stated Türkiye’s determination to assist Syria in rebuilding its healthcare infrastructure and improving access to essential services.

“We will do everything we can to support our Syrian brothers and sisters in their recovery process,” Memisoglu noted. “Our goal is to ensure a healthier society in Syria, and we will continue our efforts to achieve this.”

We conveyed our wishes of ‘good luck’ and that we are in favor of the liberation of Syria. At the same time, we conveyed to them that we will provide all kinds of support and assistance in health. They were very pleased.

They said that they are working to ensure coordination as soon as possible so that their own people can benefit from health services in the best way possible and that they would be very pleased with our help.

We will do our best. We will give all our health support to our Syrian brothers and sisters. Inshallah, we will support and help them get back on their feet as much as we can. May God help them too. Our Syrian brothers and sisters regained their freedom thanks to the real persistence and patience of Mr. President.

Inshallah, we will do our best for them to become a healthy society, we will support them.
