Israeli strikes on Gaza kill 20, including 10 children, on Eid al-Fitr

Israeli forces carried out attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip, killing at least 20 Palestinians, including 10 children, and injuring many others.
Despite the first day of Eid al-Fitr, Israel continued its strikes on both the northern and southern regions of the Gaza Strip.
According to medical sources, Israeli forces targeted homes, tents, and civilian vehicles in central Gaza City and the Jabalia area in the north, as well as in Khan Younis in the south.
The attacks resulted in the deaths of 20 Palestinians, 10 of whom were children, with many others injured.
Children killed in the attacks
Reports highlighted that the children killed in the attacks were still wearing their festive Eid clothes.
In eastern Khan Younis, Israeli tanks heavily shelled the Absan al-Kabira area, with reports of casualties caused by gunfire from Israeli soldiers.
Israeli forces also launched airstrikes on three civilian vehicles in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City and opened heavy fire on the Shuja’iyya district.
In northern Gaza’s Jabalia area, Israeli warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Palestinian Mukbil family, causing multiple casualties.
Israel had resumed intense attacks on Gaza on March 18, despite a ceasefire agreement that had been in effect since Jan. 19.
