Al Jazeera office, Norwegian embassy evacuated in Beirut for security reasons
Al Jazeera’s office in Beirut on Wednesday was evacuated after receiving multiple warnings, though the broadcaster didn’t specify where the warnings came from.
Similarly, Norwegian embassy in Beirut was also evacuated because of a bomb threat, according to the Norwegian Foreign Ministry.
AJ office in central Beirut, which also houses the Norwegian & Azerbaijan embassies, has been evacuated after the building received two warnings from a Lebanese and U.S. numbers.
The presence of Norway’s embassy and Al Jazeera’s office in one of Beirut‘s busiest central areas further escalates the danger in the region.
