National Clothing Day is celebrated in Kazakhstan for the first time this year as part of Nowruz Day
National Clothing Day, celebrated for the first time in Kazakhstan with Nowruz Day this year.
To celebrate this vibrant festival, traditional clothes are worn in educational institutions and workplaces across the country.
Kazakhstan’s capital, Astana, hosted a national clothing campaign with the participation of over 500 theater artists.
Within the campaign to popularize Kazakh national clothes, the artists first walked on the streets and then came together to create the shapes of the traditional patterns most commonly used in national clothes.
An exhibition on the history of traditional costumes was also opened for visitors at the National Museum of Kazakhstan.
