Armenia’s diplomatic mission in Istanbul, Türkiye, the Permanent Mission of Armenia to Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), has called on Turkish companies to invest in the country, according to a post on its official X account.

The Armenian government seeks to make the investment environment attractive by offering tax incentives and government subsidies for infrastructure projects.

Government subsidies, tax incentives

Armenia offers certain incentives to investors:

  • A 10% subsidy is available for investments up to AMD 500 million ($1.2 million).
  • Investments over AMD 500 million ($1.2 million) are eligible for a 20% subsidy.

These incentives are particularly applicable to infrastructure investments, creating an advantageous environment for companies considering investing in Armenia.

Investment environment

The Armenian government aims to create a favorable environment for investors with the incentives it offers.

Turkish companies are expected to take advantage of these incentives and invest in Armenia.

This may contribute to the development of economic cooperation between the two countries.
