ProtoThema scrutinized the trade between the two countries in an article titled “The positive process in Turkish-Greek relations has brought cooperation and a spring atmosphere to trade as well.”
The news reminds the $10 billion trade volume target set by the two countries’ leaders during President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Athens on Dec. 7.
It is emphasized that this has accelerated commercial activities between the two countries and the target is being rapidly approached.
The news article mentions that Turkish companies have opened hundreds of branches in Greece, stating: “From energy to retail, real estate to tourism, and aquaculture to industry, Turkish companies are present in every sector in Greece.”
According to the news, Greece ranks 10th among countries importing products from Türkiye.
Türkiye, on the other hand, ranks fifth among countries importing Greek products.
