The U.S. has announced a new $250 million military aid package for Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict with Russia.

The State Department revealed that this package includes urgently needed defense equipment, such as air defense missiles, rocket systems, artillery ammunition, anti-tank weapons, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, and other armored vehicles.

The package includes RIM-7 missiles and air defense support, Stinger missiles, ammunition for the HIMARS rocket system, 155mm and 105mm artillery shells, tube-launched, optically tracked, wire-guided (TOW) missiles, Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor missiles, Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles, M113 Armored Personnel Carriers, Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicles, Small arms ammunition and grenades, patrol boats, maritime training equipment, demolition equipment and ammunition, spare parts, auxiliary equipment, services, training and transportation.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin had previously announced that President Joe Biden would reveal the aid package at the 24th Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting held at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
