Russia launches a missile strike on Ukraine’s Kharkiv, leaving at least 4 people injured

Russian missile strike on Kharkiv injured at least six, Ukrainian officials said Saturday in a post on Telegram.

The governor of the region, Oleh Syniehubov, informed that the missile hit a civilian enterprise in the Industrial zone and a nearby house reportedly caught fire.

All six victims are employees of the enterprise, including four women aged 18, 21, 36 and 39 and two 21-year-old men, according to the governor.

A reporter from The Kyiv Independent in the city center heard an explosion before an air raid alert had sounded, suggesting that it was a ballistic missile that struck the city.

Russia has recently intensified its attacks on Kharkiv, using missiles, glider bombs and drones to destroy energy infrastructure and kill civilians.
