NATO uncovers explosives on submarine cables and pipelines in Europe, according to reports

NATO suspects that Russia has been placing explosives on submarine fiber optic cables and pipelines in Europe. According to The Times, intelligence reports indicate that some Russian ships have allegedly been spying on these critical infrastructures in the North Sea for years.
It was reported that explosives were found on a British submarine cable early in the Ukraine war.
As The Times reports, investigations have revealed that 167 non-military Russian ships have conducted 945 suspicious activities around critical infrastructure in the North Sea in recent years.
According to The Times, it is suggested that the Russians aim to infiltrate or manipulate communication cables.
