European leaders congratulate Kosovo on Independence Day

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani acknowledges European leaders’ well wishes

European countries’ leaders sent Saturday congratulatory messages to Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani on the anniversary of Kosovo’s independence.

The Presidency of Kosovo shared the congratulatory messages sent to Osmani from the leaders of European countries on its social media account.

French President Emmanuel Macron noted that he welcomed Kosovo’s “impressive progress” since its declaration of independence.

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier stated that Kosovo’s clear commitment to democratic values, especially after the war launched by Russia against Ukraine, underlines the country’s place in the community of European values.

King Charles III of England hoped the two countries would continue cooperating closely on critical global issues that would benefit future generations in the coming years.

Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Albanian President Bajram Begaj also congratulated Kosovo’s independence anniversary with the messages they sent.

The research revealed that adults living by themselves reported feelings of depression more frequently than those living with others, irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity or income level..
