Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah announced that they had treated 44 casualties resulting from multiple attacks occurring in the Gaza Strip

Israeli airstrikes in Gaza resulted in the deaths of at least 67 Palestinians overnight and into Wednesday, including in areas designated for civilian shelter.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah reported receiving 44 bodies following multiple strikes in central Gaza. Associated Press (AP) journalists witnessed the bodies being brought in by ambulances and private vehicles.

Additionally, Doctors Without Borders announced that two individuals lost their lives when a shelter housing their staff in Gaza was hit during an Israeli military operation in an area designated for refuge. The organization expressed shock and sorrow over the incident, revealing that at least two relatives of their colleagues were among the casualties, with six others injured.

The tragic event occurred in Muwasi, a desolate coastal area that has been transformed into a makeshift camp lacking essential services.

Israel’s extensive military operations in Gaza, involving both aerial bombardments and ground incursions, have resulted in the deaths of over 29,000 Palestinians, as reported by Gazan health authorities. Additionally, the conflict has led to the displacement of a significant portion of Gaza’s 2.3 million inhabitants.

Moreover, reports from Lebanon indicated that an Israeli airstrike claimed the lives of a woman and a child in southern Lebanon. This incident followed Hezbollah’s vow to retaliate against Israel for civilian casualties in the cross-border strife between the two nations.
