3 people die in Odesa in Russian missile attack
Russian missile attack on the city of Odesa in Ukraine resulted in the deaths of three people
The mayor of Odesa, Ukraine, announced on Wednesday that a Russian missile strike had killed three people.
“The enemy attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles. As a consequence of the attack, three people were killed and three more wounded,” said, Gennadiy Trukhanov, mayor of Odesa, on Telegram.
The governor of the Odesa region, Oleg Kiper, reported that civilian structures suffered damage and that the injured received all necessary treatment.
Another Russian missile strike against Odessa on Monday resulted in the deaths of five individuals.
Odesa, a vital Black Sea port for Ukraine’s exports, is frequently the target of deadly drone and missile strikes by Russia.
Prior to the expected delivery of air defense systems and missiles from the U.S., Russia escalated its attacks, particularly on the fronts in Eastern Ukraine, where it had been continuously bombarding Ukrainian cities for months.
