Türkiye’s TCG Gelibolu frigate conducts helicopter ops, aerial refueling off Libya

The Ministry of National Defense announces that the TCG Gelibolu frigate, as part of the Turkish Naval Task Group, conducted helicopter landings and take-offs, as well as aerial refueling off the coast of Libya.

“On Jan. 10, 2025, the TCG Gelibolu frigate, as part of the Turkish Naval Task Group, carried out helicopter landings/take-offs and aerial refueling off the coast of Libya,” read the statement shared on the ministry’s social media account.
