Turkish defense company Havelsan has signed a contract with the Chilean Navy to supply its ADVENT Combat Management System (CMS) as part of the modernization of two frigates in the Chilean fleet.

According to a statement from Havelsan, the ADVENT CMS will be integrated into the Chilean Navy’s frigates over the next four years. The system is known for its advanced command and control capabilities, and it will be fully compatible with the existing systems and weapons on the ships.

“With the integration of ADVENT CMS, the two frigates in Chile’s fleet will have enhanced command-and-control capabilities, meeting the needs of modern naval operations,” the statement read.

ADVENT’s expanding global presence

This deal will make Chile the ninth country to use the ADVENT Combat Management System, which has gained recognition for its reliability and groundbreaking features.

The system’s architecture is based on a networked operational approach, enabling multiple platforms to work together in joint missions.

ADVENT was first introduced to the Turkish Navy with the TCG Kinaliada corvette, and since then, it has expanded its reach in international markets.

The system is designed to meet the demands of modern warfare, providing an integrated solution for threat assessment, decision support, target detection, and weapons and sensor control.

“ADVENT is designed to meet the needs of modern warfare and is the first combat management system specifically developed for the Turkish Navy,” the company noted.
