Turkish defense technologies giant Aselsan announced the signing of an agreement with the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), a state institution, to procure air defense radar systems.

In a statement published on Friday through the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Aselsan detailed the contract, noting that deliveries are scheduled to take place between 2026 and 2031. The agreement is valued at $170.9 million and ₺1.95 billion (approximately $55.49 million).

The ALP Portable Early Warning Radar System (TEIRS), a long-range early warning radar system, and ERALP, a long-range surveillance radar, stand out among Aselsan’s air defense radar technologies.

In addition, Aselsan recently disclosed the signing of an export contract with a customer based in the European Union for the direct sale of land-based weapons systems. The total value of this contract amounts to €50.8 million (approximately $52.97 million).
