Türkiye showcases defense capabilities with Roketsan’s Cakir cruise missile, effectively deployed from Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles

The Cakir cruise missile, developed by Roketsan, was successfully launched from Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), showcasing Türkiye’s power in the defense industry. 

This event highlighted Türkiye’s progress in defense technologies and domestic production capabilities.

Cakir missile stands out with its ability to effectively hit land and sea targets.

This missile, which is Roketsan’s state-of-the-art product, reinforces Türkiye’s leading position in the defense industry.

With a range of more than 150 kilometers (93 miles), the missile is designed to be launched from fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, assault drones, tactical land vehicles, and naval platforms.

Besides land, air, and marine targets, it can also target those in caves.

It also offers real-time mission flexibility, allowing in-flight route updates, target changes or mission cancellations. 

This feature provides flexibility and efficiency in military operations.
