Turkish, Kosovan presidents discuss Gaza, bilateral relations
The presidents of Türkiye and Kosovo conferred on Gaza, bilateral ties, and counterterrorism during their meeting at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye and Kosovan President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu met in Antalya to discuss a range of issues, including Israel’s recent attacks on Gaza and bilateral relations between their countries.
According to a statement from the Communications Directorate, President Erdogan emphasized the urgent need to end the conflict in Gaza, improve the humanitarian situation through increased aid, and called for decisive international action.
During their meeting at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, the two presidents addressed the ongoing fight against terrorism. President Erdogan highlighted the progress in relations between Türkiye and Kosovo, emphasizing the importance of combating the FETO structure in Kosovo.
Additionally, Türkiye has been actively involved in Kosovo by participating in the NATO-led peacekeeping mission, Kosovo Force (KFOR).
Turkish forces have played a significant role in maintaining peace and stability in the region, supporting Kosovo’s efforts towards security and development.
A new unit of Turkish forces arrived in Kosovo this week to replace Italian troops.
