Syria TV claims terrorist organization PKK/YPG postponed elections indefinitely
Syria TV announced on its website that the so-called elections, initially scheduled for June 11 and later rescheduled for August, have been postponed indefinitely.
According to the statement, State Dept.’s envoy to northern Syria Scott Bowles’s contacts in the region influenced the terrorist organization’s decision.
Bolz allegedly met with leaders of the terrorist organization and highlighted Türkiye’s determination to prevent the elections. The report stated that Bolz clearly conveyed to the PKK/YPG leaders that the U.S. opposed the organization of these elections.
