President Erdogan and Algerian President Tebboune discuss bilateral relations and regional issues, including efforts for a lasting Israel-Palestine cease-fire
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed bilateral issues among other matters during a phone call with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune Wednesday.
According to a statement from the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, Erdogan discussed regional and global issues with President Tebboune.
The Turkish president expressed Türkiye’s readiness to increase joint efforts with Algeria to establish a lasting cease-fire between Israel and Palestine, ensure uninterrupted humanitarian aid delivery to the region, and work toward a fair solution based on the two-state principle.
President Erdogan and Tebboune also exchanged greetings for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr during the conversation.
