New details emerge about Russian YouTuber’s tragic demise in Türkiye’s Mugla
New information has surfaced regarding the tragic death of Russian YouTuber Tatyana Ivanovna Ozolina in Türkiye’s Mugla.
The accident, which occurred in Milas, was attributed to improper overtaking.
Ozolina, traveling with two other motorcyclists, attempted to overtake a truck unsafely and collided with Onur Obuk’s motorcycle, which was ahead of her.
Obuk, who sustained injuries in the collision, was taken into custody but later released under judicial control after receiving medical treatment.
Ozolina, a Russian social media influencer and motorcycle enthusiast, entered Türkiye in the second week of July as part of a world tour.
She was accompanied by Obuk and another motorcyclist, Sergei Khadrikov, during her journey.
As the trio headed toward Milas, Khadrikov reportedly lagged. In response, Obuk and Ozolina slowed down to wait for their friend to catch up.
A truck then came between Obuk and Ozolina’s motorcycles. While attempting to overtake the truck, Ozolina’s motorcycle (license plate 4898 AM 55) collided with Obuk’s motorcycle (license plate 01 ATM 970) from behind.
The impact caused both Obuk and Ozolina to be thrown off their bikes.
Emergency services arrived promptly, but medical teams confirmed that Ozolina had passed away at the spot.
