Amid escalating concerns of election interference, Mossad, through global tech firms, is accused of orchestrating a campaign to manipulate March 31 elections, prompting heightened vigilance from authorities and citizens alike

The Israeli intelligence service Mossad has reportedly intensified its efforts to sabotage the upcoming March 31 elections in Türkiye. Operating through extensions such as Canduru, Black Cube, and the NSO Group, Mossad has established special units with the aim of creating a provocation ground.

These globally operating technology and information technology companies, headquartered in Israel and under the guidance of intelligence, are said to be generating vast amounts of data through social media and messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, X, and Instagram.

All institutions to be on high alert

According to IT expert Adem Taskaya, Mossad and its affiliated entities have readied the infrastructure to manipulate the March 31 elections. Taskaya emphasized the necessity for all institutions and organizations to be on high alert regarding this matter.

Highlighting the direct and indirect interventions by Mossad, Taskaya stated that Israel aims to create the necessary conditions to incite a rebellion similar to the Gezi Park protests or the Arab Spring in order to push Türkiye into political, economic, and social chaos.

Taskaya said that companies acting as global extensions of Mossad are placing significant emphasis on the upcoming March 31 elections. They have been engaged in a series of activities aimed at influencing the outcome of these elections.

Taskaya warned that on the night of the elections and afterward, all institutions, organizations, and citizens must remain vigilant. He emphasized, “No one should serve the chaos and terrorism scenarios that they have prepared.”

Data can be distorted through AI

Taskaya also mentioned that Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) is actively working on cell structures and pirate companies within Türkiye. He stated that intensive monitoring activities have been initiated due to speculative and provocative files containing visual, audio, or written content.

“All social media tools, internet providers, and communication tools, including Google, are providing whatever is requested to these Israeli software and technology companies,” Taskaya said. He pointed out that the information-gathering process, starting from search engines, now extends to social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Google Plus.

These platforms make information about our identities, opinions and private lives –information voluntarily provided by us – accessible for all to see.

“These applications, considered innocent communication tools, not only enable institutions but also allow states to detect threat perceptions,” Taskaya added. He noted that Israel stands at the forefront of these states. While the United States allocated a budget of $2 billion for the establishment of a data collection and analysis center for internet information, Israel allocated $5 billion for the same purpose.

Additionally, Mossad has reportedly developed GSM technologies alongside traditional methods, creating systems that enable internet-based eavesdropping. In a process where AI-generated audio and video recordings are highly manipulable and social media tools are uncontrollable, no force can stand against disinformation.
