Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov over the phone regarding regional issues.

During the call, regional issues and maritime security in the Black Sea were discussed.

On March 8, President Tayyip Erdogan said that Türkiye was ready to host a summit between Ukraine and Russia to end the war during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s visit to Istanbul.
