FM Fidan advocates for Palestine in Brussels meetings
Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan traveled to Brussels to participate in a series of important meetings focused on Palestine. During his visit, Fidan engaged in bilateral discussions with representatives from various countries to enhance international cooperation and advocate for Palestine’s global recognition.
As part of his diplomatic efforts in Brussels, Fidan attended the International Partners Meeting, followed by another session co-chaired by the foreign ministers of Norway and Saudi Arabia.
These meetings aimed to strengthen international collaboration and address Palestine’s challenges.
Besides these meetings, Fidan held significant bilateral talks with Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, where they discussed enhancing bilateral relations and the broader geopolitical landscape.
He also met with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, focusing on regional stability and the importance of recognizing Palestine as a sovereign state.
Fidan’s diplomatic efforts in Brussels underline Türkiye’s commitment to supporting Palestine and its quest for international recognition and statehood.
By engaging with international partners and advocating for greater support, Fidan aims to bolster Palestine’s standing on the global stage.
