Belarus Ambassador to Türkiye Anatoly Glaz met with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Berris Ekinci to discuss strengthening ties between the two nations, according to a statement from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, both officials highlighted the “constructive nature and high intensity” of Belarus-Türkiye relations and focused on practical cooperation across political, economic, humanitarian, and other sectors.

The diplomats outlined key issues for upcoming discussions and mapped out a schedule of bilateral contacts at various levels.

They also exchanged views on regional security concerns and discussed potential joint initiatives aimed at maintaining global security.

The talks included matters of mutual support and cooperation in international forums, reflecting both countries’ interest in deepening diplomatic engagement amid evolving regional dynamics.

This meeting comes as Belarus continues to strengthen its diplomatic ties in the region, with Türkiye representing an important economic and political partner.
