Turkish coach Nuri Sahin’s Borussia Dortmund triumphs 2-0 in Bundesliga Opener
Borussia Dortmund, managed by Turkish coach Nuri Sahin, defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 in the first week of the Bundesliga.
Borussia Dortmund won the match played at Signal Iduna Park with a score of 2-0.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens scored the winning goals for Dortmund in the 72nd and 90+3rd minutes.
Sahin, who coaches Borussia Dortmund, left with 3 points from his first match in the Bundesliga in his coaching career.
Sahin had served as assistant technical director at Borussia Dortmund last year.
Sahin also coached Antalyaspor between 2021-2023 and had a successful performance.
Sahin, one of Borussia Dortmund’s legends in his football life and who captained this team for many years, played in the midfield position in Real Madrid, Liverpool, Feyenord and Antalyaspor.
Sahin also wore the national team jersey for 52 matches.
