Felix Uduokhai joins Besiktas, Ciro Immobile welcomes him to ‘best’
Besiktas has announced the signing of German defender Felix Uduokhai from FC Augsburg on a loan deal with an option to buy.
Uduokhai, who played 33 matches and scored two goals for Augsburg last season, will strengthen Besiktas‘ defense as the team aims for the Super Lig title and a strong performance in European competitions this season.

The club introduced Uduokhai in a unique video shared on its social media channels. In the video, Uduokhai is seen reading a letter from his new teammate, Italian striker Ciro Immobile, in the locker room of Tupras Stadium.
Immobile warmly welcomed Uduokhai, telling him, “You are now in the most beautiful stadium in the world. You will breathe the fresh air of the Bosphorus and hear the chants of Besiktas fans that shake the skies.”
Immobile also emphasized the importance of Uduokhai’s role on the field, saying, “You will stop your opponents thousands of times and score goals when needed.”

Besiktas, under the leadership of Dutch coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst, has been active in the transfer market, adding key players to the squad, including Gabriel Paulista, Rafa Silva, and Ciro Immobile.
