In an exciting NBA game, Alperen Sengun came close to a triple-double as his Houston Rockets triumphed over the Boston Celtics 114-112, thanks to a dramatic last-second shot.

The game, held at TD Garden, was decided when Amen Thompson scored with just 1.1 seconds left on the clock, securing the Rockets’ victory.

With this win, the Rockets now have a 31-14 record, while the Celtics’ record drops to 32-15.

Alperen Sengun’s performance

Sengun finished the game with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals—just shy of a triple-double. His all-around contribution played a crucial role in the Rockets’ success.

Alongside Sengun, Dillon Brooks led the Rockets with 36 points, including 10 three-pointers, while Amen Thompson added 33 points and 9 rebounds. Jalen Green also contributed 12 points and 6 assists.

For the Celtics, Jaylen Brown scored 28 points, but his efforts weren’t enough to secure a win. Jayson Tatum added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists, and Luke Kornet chipped in with 18 points and 7 rebounds.

Sengun’s near triple-double performance continues to highlight his rising star in the NBA, while the Rockets’ thrilling victory marks another exciting chapter in their season.
