Jordan to recognize West Bank Palestinian displacement as act of war
Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi warned Friday that any attempt to relocate Palestinians from the West Bank to Jordan would be regarded as a “declaration of war,” underscoring the growing regional tensions surrounding the conflict.
The ongoing Israeli actions have turned the Middle East into a bloodbath. There is also a risk of the conflict spreading further in the region, particularly with the recent assassinations of senior Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Safadi has called on the international community to act before the West Bank and the entire region become battlefields, emphasizing that the first step to prevent the situation from worsening is to halt the attacks on Palestinian territories.
Additionally, Safadi criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for disrupting indirect negotiations with Hamas by changing his stance and introducing new conditions.
