Israel FM threatens Erdogan, comparing him to Saddam Hussein
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz sharply criticized President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s recent statements suggesting Türkiye could intervene in Israel in a manner similar to its actions in Karabakh and Libya.
In his response, Katz drew a comparison between Erdogan and former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, warning of severe consequences for Türkiye if it pursued such threats. “Erdogan is following in Saddam Hussein’s path and threatening to attack Israel. He should remember what happened there and how it ended,” Katz said on X.
