3 PKK/YPG terrorists eliminated in N. Iraq, Syria

Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defense announced that three terrorists, affiliated with the PKK/YPG, were eliminated in coordinated operations across northern Iraq and Syria.

The operations are part of Türkiye’s continued efforts to eliminate terrorism threats at their source.

Operations targeting terrorists in Iraq and Syria

According to the ministry, Turkish forces identified two PKK terrorists in the Operation Claw-Lock area in northern Iraq and one PKK/YPG terrorist in the Euphrates Shield Operation area in northern Syria.

Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 2 PKK terrorists it identified in the Claw-Lock Operation region in northern Iraq and 1 PKK/YPG terrorist it identified in the Euphrates Shield region in northern Syria.

“We will continue unpredictable, unconventional, rapid and sustained operations to destroy terrorism at its source.” Ministry said in a post on X.

Kahraman Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlerimiz; Irak’ın kuzeyindeki Pençe-Kilit Operasyonu bölgesinde tespit ettiği 2 PKK’lı terörist ile Suriye'nin kuzeyindeki Fırat Kalkanı bölgesinde belirlediği 1 PKK/YPG'li teröristi etkisiz hâle getirdi.
