Turkish Cuisine Reception in New York highlights Turkish culinary delights
At the Turkish Cuisine Reception held at the Turkish House (Türk Evi) in New York, foreign guests had the opportunity to taste a variety of Turkish culinary delights.
The reception, organized to increase food exports from Türkiye to the United States, was attended by Türkiye’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ahmet Yildiz, New York Consul General Reyhan Ozgur, as well as food industry representatives, businesspeople, and diplomats from various countries.
During the reception, which also celebrated Turkish Cuisine Week, guests were treated to an array of offerings from Turkish cuisine.
Producers of Turkish grains, olive oil, fruits and vegetables, and seafood were present to answer guests’ questions.
Additionally, world-renowned chefs known as “Turkish Culinary Ambassadors” – Tom J. Macrina, Reimund Pitz, and Greg Matchett – provided detailed information to the attendees about the process of growing, preparing, and serving Turkish food products.
