Roads to be closed in Istanbul for cycling race L’Etape by Tour de France
Several roads in Istanbul will be closed on Sunday due to the L’Etape by Tour de France international cycling race and the Republic Day celebrations for the 101st anniversary of Türkiye’s founding.
The road closures will begin at 6 a.m. local time and remain in effect until the events conclude later in the day.

The following roads will be closed between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. due to the cycling event:

Road closures for Republic Day rehearsal and celebrations
In preparation for the Republic Day celebrations, Adnan Menderes Boulevard (Vatan Street) in the Fatih district will be closed on Oct. 20 for rehearsals and again on Oct. 29 for the main event.
The closures will begin at 6 a.m. and remain in place until the conclusion of the events. Additionally, vehicles parked along Adnan Menderes Boulevard and its side roads will be removed starting from 10 p.m. on Oct. 19.
