This innovative dual electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) car concept is not just a showpiece; it represents a substantial advancement in the evolution of urban transportation.

The Land Aircraft Carrier, a 6×6 all-wheel-drive vehicle reminiscent of the futuristic Cybertruck, showcases XPeng’s commitment to blending cutting-edge design with practical functionality.

XPeng’s new concept stands out with its modular approach, effortlessly transitioning from a ground vehicle to an aerial mode. The dual functionality encompasses a ground module paired with an air module, housing a two-person electric helicopter.

Safety is a paramount consideration in the design of the Land Aircraft Carrier. The vehicle boasts an electric propulsion system engineered to meet strict safety standards, including single-point failure requirements. Additionally, it supports both manual and autonomous flight modes, offering flexibility and reassurance to users.

Aiming to create the safest and most intelligent electric flying car for personal use, XPeng has announced an estimated price point of approximately $140,500.

He Xiaopeng, the founder of XPeng, anticipates the Land Aircraft Carrier will be available for pre-orders by the end of this year, marking a significant milestone in the commercialization of flying cars.
