Anadolu Isuzu, a Turkish automotive manufacturer partnered with Japan’s Isuzu, announced a $37.8 million agreement with the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

The deal was disclosed in a filing with Türkiye’s Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), stating that 70 18-meter buses will be exported from Türkiye to the UAE, with deliveries scheduled for 2026.

Anadolu Isuzu began operations in 1965 under the name Celik Montaj, initially focusing on the production of small trucks and motorcycles.

The company entered a licensing agreement with Japan’s Isuzu Motors Ltd. in 1983, which paved the way for the production of Isuzu vehicles at its Kartal factory in Istanbul the following year.

Currently operating from a facility in Kocaeli with 118,000 square meters of enclosed space, Anadolu Isuzu manufactures up to 19,000 commercial vehicles annually.

The company also provides after-sales services through 132 service centers across 44 countries.
