Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Türkiye, is set to break its all-time record for daily flights with 1,369 scheduled departures, the company’s CEO Bilal Eksi stated.
In a post shared on social media, Eksi noted that this marks the highest number of daily Turkish Airlines flights to date, surpassing the previous record of 1,292 set on June 5, which coincided with the eve of a national holiday.
“A new record has arrived. With 1,369 planned TK flights today, we will break the record for the highest number of flights ever,” Eksi stated, adding, “Türkiye is growing, and Turkish Airlines is soaring high.”
Founded in 1933, Turkish Airlines—commonly referred to by its IATA code “TK”—is owned by Türkiye Wealth Fund and has become a symbol of the country’s global connectivity ambitions.
The airline operates across 131 countries with a fleet of 477 aircraft, making it one of the most globally connected carriers in the world.
In a recent evaluation by BrandDirectory, Turkish Airlines was ranked as Türkiye’s most valuable brand with a brand value of $1.98 billion.
