Facebook and Instagram are experiencing a widespread outage, with millions of users reporting issues accessing the platforms, according to Down Detector.

The outage appears to have started suddenly, affecting users across multiple regions. Meta has yet to issue an official statement on the cause of the disruption.

What happened to Instagram?

Instagram, the globally used social media platform, experienced technical issues today, causing disruptions for many users. Complaints flooded in on the X platform, with users reporting issues such as “My explore tab feed is not working” and “Comments are not visible.”

While some users were able to access their accounts without issues, others received error notifications.

Are comments not visible on Instagram?

Following the technical glitch, many users found that they could not view comments on posts. This disruption led to widespread frustration, with numerous posts highlighting the issue. Despite the problem, users remain hopeful that the issue will be resolved soon.

When will Instagram be fixed?

The access issue, which occurred on March 25, 2025, has made headlines across the globe, especially in Türkiye, where users have been particularly affected. At present, there has been no official statement from Meta regarding the problem.
