Germany continues to top Turkish exports in November
Germany maintained its position as the leading destination for Turkish exports in November, with exports to the country increasing by 1.4% compared to the same month last year, reaching $1.52 billion.
According to data from the Türkiye Exporters Assembly (TIM), 6.9% of Türkiye’s $22.3 billion total exports during this period went to Germany.
When analyzing exports by sectors, Germany emerged as the top buyer for products from six sectors in November.
These sectors included iron and non-iron metals, leather and leather products, hazelnuts and related products, ready-to-wear garments and apparel, the air-conditioning industry, and dried fruits and products.

Exports increased in 59 provinces
The Turkish trade ministry reported that Istanbul topped the list with $5.38 billion in exports, though its exports decreased by 12.8% compared to the same month last year. Istanbul was followed by Kocaeli with $2.52 billion a 2.7% decrease and Izmir with $1.97 billion by a 13.7% decline.
