German tech firm ZF denied recent claims in Turkish media reports that the company is relocating its production facilities to Türkiye due to political and economic factors.

In an official statement, ZF refuted these reports, clarifying that there is no such decision to move production to Türkiye.

ZF Friedrichshafen AG, or simply ZF, is a manufacturer supplying systems for cars, trucks, and industrial applications.

Stating that they value their contribution to the Turkish economy and employment, ZF stated that they employ 2,000 people in four locations in Türkiye.

The statement continued that ZF has no plans to move its operations from Germany to Türkiye, adding, “We ask you to disregard reports based on ‘misinterpretation of ZF’s responses regarding potential investments outside Europe.”
