Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) responded swiftly to a violent attack targeting the Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) facility in Ankara.

The assault, which drew immediate condemnation, led to military action against suspected terrorist organization PKK/YPG targets in northern Syria and Iraq.

In the operations, many strategic points such as energy-infrastructure buildings, logistics and ammunition depots belonging to the organization were targeted.

It was emphasized that MIT will continue its operations against the terrorist organization PKK/YPG without interruption until the planned target is reached.

MIT targets PKK/YPG sites in northern Syria and Iraq

Following the attack, MIT launched a coordinated operation in the northern regions of Syria and Iraq, focusing on terrorist organization PKK/YPG’s positions believed to be responsible for the attack.

The operation resulted in the destruction of several strategic locations tied to the group, which has been designated a terrorist organization by Türkiye, United States and European Union countries.
