Erdogan delivers speech for first time after FETO terrorist Fetullah Gulen’s death
President and Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan Tuesday delivered a speech, for the first time after Fetullah Terror Organization (FETO) ringleader Fetullah Gulen died in the U.S., at the Expanded Provincial Chairs Meeting held at his party’s headquarters.
“We defeated all coup plotters, traitors, and those consumed by blood and hatred,” the president asserted.
“On July 15, alongside our beloved citizens, we replaced the guns that spewed death, the planes that rained bombs, and the FETO (members) who fired upon the nation,” Erdogan declared.
“We have never bowed our heads to the guardianship, mafia, gangs, terrorist organizations, injustice, lawlessness, antidemocratic foci that are the guardians of the status quo,” he added.
We want 85M (people of Türkiye) to unite, tension and street politics will harm both individuals and nation.
Dangerous conjuncture in our geography encourages all of us, as politicians, to act more responsibly and soberly… (There is) no place for terrorism and its dark shadow in Türkiye’s future
President Erdogan
The president maintained that the state will continue the struggle with determination until FETO is completely eliminated. All institutions of our state will be breathing down the necks of the pack of FETO hyenas, whether in Türkiye or in the most remote corners of the world,” he added.
“This nation will never forgive those who enter into an equation or personal account that will cause Türkiye to lose,” Erdogan concluded.
