Food inspections under scrutiny

Responding to questions about recent food inspections by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Erdogan highlighted that Türkiye has 724,000 food businesses, all of which are subject to at least one inspection annually.

In 2024, the number of inspections is nearing one million. Erdogan also commented on the controversy surrounding a well-known restaurant chain, affirming that the inspections were thorough and followed proper legal procedures.
