Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg described Israel’s actions in Palestine as “extremely horrific” during a protest in Stockholm, where around 5,000 people gathered to demonstrate against Israel and show support for Palestine.

Thunberg said, “The genocide in Palestine by Israel is extremely horrific.”

She added, “I don’t understand how people can watch what’s happening, witness a genocide live-streamed, and still go about their daily lives as if nothing’s wrong. I believe anyone who can, wherever they are, should raise their voice and do everything in their power to stop it.”

Thunberg also emphasized, “Silence during a genocide makes you complicit. We all have a role to play. For instance, in countries like Sweden, we can boycott Israeli companies, divest, and impose sanctions. We all can do something, we just need to find it.”
