US Representative Bill Pascrell criticized remarks made by Donald Trump suggesting Ukraine should concede in a statement made on Sunday

US Representative Bill Pascrell commented on Donald Trump’s Ukraine policies on Sunday. Pascrell strongly criticized Trump’s peace plan proposal, which suggested Ukraine should relinquish Crimea and Donbass.

In his statement, Pascrell said, “To former US President Donald Trump, who booed us for supporting Ukraine, I have bad news. Putin will go to hell, and Ukraine will always remain.”

Trump had claimed that if re-elected, he would end the Russia-Ukraine War by insisting Ukraine give up Crimea and Donbass.

Experts speculate that if Trump were re-elected, support for Ukraine would decrease. Pascrell’s remarks, however, indicate that members of the US House of Representatives remain supportive of Kyiv despite Trump’s stance.
