Turkish police apprehended a student on Monday for cheating in a nationwide university entrance exam using the artificial intelligence software ChatGPT.

The police became suspicious of the student’s behavior inside the examination hall and decided to observe the student closely.

The student, identified as M.E.E., was subsequently caught cheating using a button camera and ChatGPT.

Upon inspection of the device, it was found that the individual had been using the AI software to solve exam questions with the help of an accomplice identified as A.B.

While the accomplice was released, the main suspect, M.E.E., was arrested.
